Works will be taking place with extended hours over the weekend

Because of the unprecedented weather conditions we have unfortunately fallen behind schedule on construction.

Because of the unprecedented weather conditions we have unfortunately fallen behind schedule on construction and therefore will be extending our weekend working hours so that we can complete the work in as short as time as possible. We are keen not to prolong the possible construction impact to the local community. Today we have sent a letter to all residents to inform them of this and also provide them with a weekend contact on site should they require it.

Information contained in the letter are as follows;

  • Employees of Goldbeck Construction, the contractors carrying out the construction works on Sevor Farm Solar, will be working past 13h00 on Saturday, and also on Sunday. Weekend work will commence on 15 February and continue for five to six weeks to complete the construction of the solar farm
  • We want residents to receive as little impact as possible from the weekend work; there will be no deliveries to the site on weekends and the work being carried out will be of minimal noise
  • On Sunday mornings the contractors will work as far away from the Church as possible to avoid any disturbances during church service
  • If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Alexander Yamani (telephone 0049 160 3599883) or Matthias Klaus (from 1 March, on 07472 484718) both of Goldbeck Construction, who will be working on the Sevor Farm Solar site. Alternatively if you would like to speak to someone from Eneco please call 01926 331229.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
